I’m a big nature girl and love the outdoors from flowers to bees. My passion for butterflies started when I was 7 years old on a trip to Cypress Gardens in Central Florida. Ever since that day I fell head over heels in love with these fluttering creatures.
Since we have such mild winters here in Florida I decided I wanted to turn my backyard into a wildlife nature habitat for me and all of God’s creatures in our area. We already have raccoons and opossums visiting our yard.
I did some searching around on the Internet and found a site on my IG feed that featured the National Wildlife Federation website.(click link) I was intrigued so I took a deeper look into how I can have my yard certified as a Wildlife Habitat.
It was super easy and fun to accomplish in just a few days. I already had most of everything on their list and just needed a few more items to have my certification complete. You can watch the fun on my YouTube channel, here. <<< click <<<
